I've been interested in photography most of my life and starting photographing weddings at the request of a friend who asked if I might be willing to photograph her sister's wedding. My previous work in capturing images of people, architecture and flowers seemed to be a good fit for wedding photography, so I gave it a try.

After that first wedding, I did quite a bit of studying (in both the technical and business side of wedding photography) and was fortunate to find several couples who liked my work enough to take a chance on a newcomer to the business. With each wedding the results get a little better, something new gets added to my portfolio on a regular basis.

I like having the opportunity to record special moments in people's lives. I enjoy most taking the candid photos before, during and after the wedding ceremony. I mix that with informal group photographs and some artistic portraiture to create my still-evolving style.
